Brochantite Mineral Specimens
Brochantite is a hydrous copper sulfate, emerald green to greenish black in color. The crystals are typically small, prismatic or acicular, transparent to translucent. Brochantite is a secondary mineral found in oxidation zones of copper deposits, particularly in arid regions. These specimens are all from New Mexico.
