Apatite Mineral Specimens
Apatite is part of a group of calcium phosphates, usually divided into fluorapatite, chlorapatite, and hydroxylapatite. A distinction between the three is rarely made as it is difficult to distinguish between the minerals and they may partially replace one another. Featured in this collection are green apatite crystals from Canada and blue apatite crystals from Brazil.
